An exciting vacancy has arisen to join the innovative Young People's team based in Macclesfield. Cheshire East Young Person's Service are a specialist support service for young people primarily aged up to 25 in relation to substance use.

The primary focus of this role is to work with children who have been identified as being at risk of exploitation by others (sexual or criminal). This will be as a case worker, holding a caseload of young people under 18.

This will also include some looked after children. The role will also require the successful candidate to attend some weekly and monthly Pan Cheshire East multi-agency meetings.

These will help identify and review at risk young people across Cheshire East. The role will also be based in the Macclesfield site but operate flexibly across Cheshire East.

One day a week they would be based in the local YOS team. The role will also offer substance misuse support and guidance to other professionals.
