Responsibilities

• Load & unload trucks, skip bins, and trailers.
• Control on-site traffic through positive communication channels.
• Operate equipment, including forklift and/or excavator (where licensed).
• Ensure customers receive a high level of service.
• Inspect, grade and sort metals.
• Demonstrate personal responsibility for and commitment to OH&S policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail – ability to identify and separate different materials.
• A can-do attitude, open to training to diversify skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, numeracy skills, and basic computer literacy.
• Previous experience in customer service and/or similar roles.

Desirable Criteria

• Forklift ticket.
• WTR license highly regarded.
