Yard Operative:

Located in: RG42.

Shift times : 7am - 5pm (1 hour break unpaid) Monday to Friday.

Salary: £13 per hour.

The Best Connection is working with a National waste recycling company to find a Yard Operative to start immediately in RG42.

Key responsibilies include:

• Picking contaminated materials from incoming waste.
• Working with onsite staff to clean machinery, equipment, site roads etc.
• Housekeeping of the operator cabins and site as requested.
• Assist Machine Operatives with tasks as requested.
• Report any mechanical defects etc to the site foreman or manager.
• Support and develop with Sprayer and Welding tasks.
• Sorting green waste arriving on site
• Loading vehicles taking material off site.
• Assisting machine operator with filling bags of material (soil/sand/compost)
