Job Summary:

+ Confirm correct patient, exam, and pregnancy status before imaging.

+ Ensure comfort, safety, and accurate anatomical alignment.

+ Operate radiologic equipment using ALARA principles to produce high‑quality images.

+ Safely prepare, explain, and monitor IV or oral contrast when required.

+ Assess vitals and watch for medication or contrast reactions.

+ Review images, complete QA, and transfer studies accurately to PACS.

+ Use shielding, control exposure areas, and follow all safety standards.

+ Prepare supplies and assist with specialized or sterile imaging exams.

+ Explain procedures, risks, benefits, and post‑exam instructions clearly.

+ Work with technologists, nurses, and providers to ensure smooth workflow and excellent patient experience.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: One to three years’ experience in radiology is preferred.
