Position Overview
Job Description
- Implement and enforce workplace safety and health (WSH) policies and procedures
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Monitor workersβ adherence to safe work practices and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions
- Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and training sessions
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (e.g., MOM, WSH Act, relevant codes of practice)
- Liaise with project managers, supervisors, and external authorities on safety matters
- Maintain proper documentation of safety records, reports, and permits
- Review risk assessments (RA) and safe work procedures (SWP)
- Assist in emergency response planning and drills
