**Wind Deputy Site Manager (Wake Wind Energy Center)**


**JOB SUMMARY:**


This position is responsible for assisting in managing and overseeing the daily operations of Wake Wind Facility; a 257.3 MW wind facility, owned by Southern Company’s subsidiary Southern Power, located in Floyd County, Texas. The wind farm is equipped with 150 GE wind turbines rated at 1.715 MW each. This candidate will lead a small team of technicians and third-party wind contractors and will work to establish new operating procedures and will work closely with the rest of Southern Power to communicate and manage the site operations.


**JOB REQUIREMENTS:**



+ High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in a related field strongly preferred
+ 5 – 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in wind energy
