Role based in Belgium Fohntech Group is looking for a Welding Inspector to join their team in Belgium. Rotation Plan is available. Responsibilities: Verify welding specifications and compliances for site requirements Be familiar with safety, quality and construction or maintenance regulations, standards, procedures and requirements Ensure that all activities/tasks adhere to national and state health and safety regulations Ensure welding procedures are being followed correctly and that welders are using appropriate equipment and materials Review NDT results and interpret findings to assess weld quality and detect any defects or discontinuities Identify the qualifications of welders and the validity of their certificates Maintain records of inspections conducted Interpret welding symbols, drawings, specifications and codes Document results of inspections, including VT reports and weld maps Identify and report any deviations or non-conformances to procedures, codes or standards Qualificat...
