Position Overview
Technip Energies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welding Engineer / NDT / Inspector to join our team working on the innovative Net Zero Teesside Power project. This role involves overseeing welding and non‑destructive testing (NDT) activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and project specifications to deliver high‑quality, sustainable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, witness, review/comment, and accept welding procedures, qualification, and specifications in accordance with project and industry standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO).
- Work with and witness exotic material welding and post‑weld heat treatment (PWHT) cycles and requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to welding teams prior to and during fabrication, erection, and commissioning phases.
- Ensure welding activities are performed in compliance with approved procedures and quality requirements.
