Job Description

Plant Workshop Welder will play a critical role in fabricating, repairing, and maintaining plant workshop equipment and structures. Your expertise in welding techniques and fabrication processes will ensure the integrity and durability of workshop assets. This role requires precision, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to collaborate with other maintenance teams to keep MEWS operating efficiently.

Fabrication & Welding

• Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks on machinery, structures, and components within the plant workshop.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to carry out accurate fabrication.
• Carry out modifications and reinforcements on plant workshop equipment as required.

Maintenance & Repair

• Repair damaged components, frames, and structures using appropriate welding techniques.
