A Welder is responsible for joining metal parts using various welding techniques and equipment. They read blueprints, prepare materials, operate welding tools, inspect completed work, and ensure all projects meet safety and quality standards.

Hours for the position are from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday. Overtime is available on Saturday from 8-12.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, cutting, grinding, and fitting materials.
• Perform welding using methods such as MIG
• Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects.
• Operate welding equipment and related tools safely.
• Follow workplace safety regulations and wear required protective equipment.
• Measure and align workpieces using hand and power tools.
• Maintain welding equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.
