**Job Title: Welder**
**Job Description**
This role focuses on welding and assembling components on refurbished refuse trucks and cement mixers. You will set up welding equipment, perform various welding techniques, and help restore used trucks to a high standard of safety and appearance in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

**Responsibilities**

+ Set up welding equipment and ensure all welder settings are correct for each job.
+ Perform spot, tack, and MIG welding on refurbished refuse (garbage) trucks and cement mixers.
+ Assemble components and parts on trucks and mixers according to specifications.
+ Carry out basic fabrication and body work as needed to restore used and older trucks.
+ Use hand tools and power tools to grind, clean, and prepare surfaces for welding and assembly.
+ Wash, clean, and wipe down parts and work areas to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
