**_POSITION SUMMARY:_**

The Entry Welder position requires MIG welding on steel materials. After the initial training period, welders will be required to perform their duties with a high degree of quality, inspect their work and correct any defects within the given takt time.

**_ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:_**

+ Performs MIG welding on steel materials.
+ Positions and arranges parts and components for welding by prints provided.
+ Inspects work and fixes any defects as required.
+ Responsible for keeping work area clean.
+ ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

**_EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:_**

+ Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
+ Welding certification preferred but not required
