Job Description Position Summary: Responsible for maintenance and repairs of all structures including movable bridges, fixed bridges, culverts, overhead sign structures, high mast lighting and bridge fender systems in accordance with standards and conditions specified in the contract and as directed by the supervisor. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Maintain and repair highway structures including concrete, structural steel, welding, expansion joints, carpentry and painting as required. Create safe Maintenance of Traffic (M.O.T.) control by setting up and removing traffic control devices including cones, message/arrow boards, temporary signage, etc. Work comfortably from heights in bucket trucks, snooper trucks, scaffolding, ladders and aerial platform lifts. Repair and maintain functionality of bridge and culvert slopes, berms, drains, etc. using hand and power tools.
