Duties and Responsibilities: Receives and unloads incoming merchandise deliveries. Counts and verifies items against appropriate documentation. - Reviews floor inventory levels to insure an adequate stock of merchandise. Uses judgment based on knowledge of appropriate stock levels to restock merchandise on shelves. - Stocks merchandise according to size and assortment. Employs effective visual merchandising techniques. Rotates older stock to the front using the age codes as a guide. Advises and makes recommendations to supervisor and or appropriate buyer for markdowns on slow-moving and or damaged merchandise.
