The purpose of the Store Helper position is to assist in the daily operations of the store by supporting the storekeeper in receiving, storing, issuing, and organizing materials and supplies.

Key Accountabilities

• Assist in receiving incoming goods, checking for accuracy and reporting any discrepancies.
• Support in loading and unloading deliveries (manual handling or using equipment where trained).
• Move and organize stock in appropriate locations as per supervisor's instructions.
• Perform light loading/unloading activities as required.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Assist in stock counting, physical inventory, and cycle counting as scheduled.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO or other material handling procedures.
• Report any damaged or expired stock to the supervisor.
• Pack and label goods for dispatch or storage as needed.
