POSITION OBJECTIVES: Manages the allocation, routing, tracing and distribution of materials via the delegation of responsibility and authority. Plans, directs, and oversees the activities pertaining to all warehouse operations including receiving, distribution, order picking, packing and shipping of materials. Partners with manufacturing, sales and customer service to assure production schedules and commitments to internal and external customers are consistently met.
· Identify parts to be put away
· Operate gas and electric powered forklifts.
· Pick up and deliver work orders.
· Maintain warehouse premises so that it is safe and organized.
· Transport material to and from departments.
· Operate a computer terminal, as well as, a variety of hand tools/ banding machines, pallet jacks, and box dolly.
· Understand and comply in accordance with ISO procedures.
· Identify damage and loss of materials stored in the warehouse.
