Responsibilities
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take accurate food and drink orders from customers
- Provide recommendations on menu items and specials
- Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately
- Check on customers throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Handle any customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and elevate to management if necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area including clearing tables, resetting them for new guests, and completing side‑work tasks
- Process payments from customers accurately using the POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals to customers
Requirements
- Previous experience as a waiter is preferred but not required
