Position Summary

Violence against women and girls and conflict‑related sexual violence (VAWG/CRSV) Prevention Officer plays a crucial role by implementing risk mitigation and prevention interventions. The officer ensures technical quality and integration across humanitarian programs, identifies and addresses related concerns through direct service and referrals, contributes to capacity‑building training, facilitates curriculum‑based social dialogues, and raises community awareness on protection issues. The officer leads organizational and staff transformation on protection, represents Mercy Corps in coordination forums at the field office level, participates in assessments and concept‑note writing, develops budget and activity reports, and manages procurement plans.
