Vice President - Senior Underwriter Casualty

Linx Underwriting Solutions is an underwriting agency and a wholly owned subsidiary of Aon Canada, specializing in industry- and product-specific solutions tailored to the Canadian market.

We are looking to hire a Senior Underwriter, Casualty, who will underwrite a portfolio of commercial casualty, umbrella, and select specialty lines, delivering innovative and effective solutions to brokers and clients. Candidates can be located in Calgary, Toronto or Halifax.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.

What The Day Will Look Like

• Deliver profitable performance of the Casualty portfolio
• Underwrite and analyze new and renewal business within delegated authority
• Select risks, negotiate coverage and pricing, and close deals
