The Vice President Revenue Cycle is a core member of the UCSF Health leadership team, responsible for the strategic revenue cycle management to drive optimal performance and support finance objectives. Accountable for the management and operation of the revenue cycle for UCSF Health which includes UCSF Health Enterprise including the Adult Academic Medical Centers, Benioff Children’s Hospitals, the Ambulatory Business Unit including Provider Practices, The Community Hospitals, and Affiliate Networks. Responsible and accountable for all aspects of UCSF Health revenue cycle including compliance with UCSF standards and outside regulatory and accreditation agencies. Scope of oversight includes Patient Financial Services, Medical Group Business Services, Patient Access, Inpatient and Outpatient Facility and Professional Coding, Revenue Cycle Quality, Education, and Performance Improvement, and Research Revenue Cycle.
