**About this role**

**Overview**

We are recruiting for a Vice President of Insurance reporting to the Managing Director and head of insurance for BlackRock. This individual will be based in New York and support insurance activities at all our US-based fund portfolio companies.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Partner with portfolio companies on the following insurance activities: initiating and assisting in broker RFPs; connecting and leveraging insurance broker and insurer network; offering options for portfolio-wide insurance solutions; providing benchmarking and analytics; and securing optimal claims outcomes
+ Lead the administration of portfolio-wide insurance solutions
+ Coordinate insurance due diligence and representations and warranties insurance on portfolio company acquisitions and dispositions
