A Gold Mining Company based in the Gauteng Province has a great opportunity for a Vice President Mining: Gold. My client is looking a candidate who has 20 years’ experience in underground mining operations environment. They will also need to lead the Mining Operations to ensure safe, profitable and cost effective mining of ore reserves, according to an agreed plan and the development of new ore reserves to maintain a profitable production rate in order to ensure the sustainability of the Operation. The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

•Mine Manager’s Certificate

•Degree in Mining Engineering

•MBA

•15 - 20 years’ experience in an Engineering related role, of which

•7 – 10 years’ experience at a Senior Management level or experience in a functional/specialist area
