Salary up to £65,000 DOE plus up to £5,000 Welcome Bonus.

Role Overview

Veterinary Surgeon needed for award‑winning, fabulous practice in Biddulph, Staffordshire, on the Staffordshire/Cheshire border.

Working Hours and Patterns

20–40 hours a week over 2 to 5 days. No out‑of‑hours duty, 1 Saturday in 3 or 6 (8 am–1 pm). Salary £40 k–65 k based on a 40‑hr full‑time equivalent.

We treat all staff (vets, nurses, receptionists) as equal team members no matter when they work. This position is advertised for 20–37.5 hours, but we can discuss alternative patterns that suit you: full days, short days, split shifts, early or late starts. Consulting‑only is also welcome, as are those who love surgery or imaging.

Appointment times are 20 minutes standard, 40 minutes for euthanasia or complex issues.
