The **Veterinarian** will apply a professional knowledge of veterinary science in the care and medical examinations of Military Working Dogs (MWDs). The Veterinarian conducts physical exams; interprets radiographic images; assesses hip stability; assesses oral health and normal dental condition; and interprets blood, urine, and fecal tests. Conducts semi-annual, sick call, and pre-departure physical exams of military working dogs; diagnoses problems including the interpretation of diagnostic imaging studies and other special tests and procedures based on appropriate education and training; develops and tracks medical therapies and provides therapeutic medical directives.
