Position Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Compound Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a large, fast-paced automotive compound operation.
This is a senior leadership role within a high-volume environment, requiring a proven operator who has previously managed large-scale vehicle compounds and understands the complexities that come with high stock volumes, tight turnaround times, and multiple stakeholder demands.
The Role:
Oversee all compound operations, ensuring vehicles are managed efficiently from arrival through to dispatch

Lead, motivate and develop operational teams across multiple functions

Maintain full control of stock accuracy, movement, and location within a large-scale compound

Ensure all operational processes meet customer, manufacturer, and internal standards

Drive performance against KPIs including turnaround times, utilisation, and service levels
