Vacancy: Maintenance Technician – Durban, KZN

One of our Clients, a leader in the Manufacturing Industry, is seeking to appoint a Maintenance Technician with experience in the Milling and Packaging industry, to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of the milling and packaging machinery. Applicants must reside in and around the Durban, Umbilo area.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Establish, monitor, and carryout preventative maintenance procedures and schedules for buildings, equipment and grounds.
• Carpentry, electrical, painting, mechanical and plumbing maintenance and repairs, applying paint and other finishes, repairing drywall, disassembling and reassembling equipment, replacing sinks and toilets, and applying finishing material such as linoleum.
