Essential Job Duties:
The HR Service Center Specialist provides front-line customer service to individuals (including employees and faculty as well as external customers) who contact HR for assistance including assisting newly-hired employees/customers completing Form I-9. This position greets customers warmly, identifies customer question(s) and underlying needs, and if the customer needs to complete an I-9, the Specialist identifies the appropriate employee record in the University’s electronic I-9 system (I-9 Guardian by LawLogix), reviews appropriate identification documents provided by the employee corresponding to federal requirements, and assists the new e...
