The primary purpose of this position is to operate and maintain an Energy Monitoring and Control System (EMCS); heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) controls, fire and intrusion alarm systems, and other utility systems Responsibilities - Maintains surveillance of the operation of base utility systems through the operation of the EMCS console and peripheral equipment. - Takes Incoming emergency and urgent customer service calls after normal duty hours and dispatches appropriate craftsmen to accomplish repairs. - Follows written and oral procedures to keep the base electrical distribution system functioning properly, Analyzes a variety of interrelated sensing monitors to detect conditions such as circuit overloads, and equipment temperature changes. - Dispatches repair crews when equipment failure occurs. - Receives individual printouts of utilit...
