**Description**

The UNIX LINUX System Engineer - Mid provides day-to-day administration of UNIX/Linux server infrastructure supporting the SEC ISS contract, SEC OIT mission operations, and HALSI/HPC service environments. This rolemaintainssecure, stable server operations across physical and virtual environments, including imaging, patching, hardening, and automated deployment activities. The engineer supports ISS server managementobjectivesin the PWS, including operational reliability and alignment with SEC security and compliance requirements. The position partners with senior engineers and operations teams to resolve incidents quickly,maintainservice continuity, andmaintainrequired ticketing and change-control records.
