The Institute for Cancer Research (ICR), organized as part of the Division for Cancer Medicine, conducts cutting-edge cancer research ranging from basic biology to translational and clinical research. It is Norway’s leading cancer research institute with a strong international standing. ICR, located close to the new Radium Hospital/Cancer Clinic, has currently 390 employees organized in 25 research groups. Within ICR, Department of Molecular Oncology’s main research programs are devoted to colorectal cancer and prostate cancer.
