Role Overview We are hiring an Underwriter to evaluate and price risk across our portfolio. The role combines analytical rigor with sound judgement — making the calls that protect profitability while supporting growth.
Key Responsibilities - Evaluate applications and price risk according to underwriting guidelines - Analyse financial statements, loss runs, and supporting documentation - Approve, decline, or refer cases based on risk appetite and authority limits - Negotiate terms with brokers, agents, or applicants - Maintain accurate documentation and rationale for each decision - Partner with claims, actuarial, and product teams on portfolio insights
