They are looking for a technically strong underwriter with exposure to long-tailed lines, ideally combined with experience in the London Market (Lloyd’s / company market / broking environments).

Key Duties (Including but not limited to)

• Category: Non-life Actuarial
• Type: Permanent
• Technical underwriting of reinsurance contracts across long-tailed lines (e.g. casualty, liability, specialty)
• Detailed review of submissions, including London Market documentation (slips, MRCs, bordereaux, claims data)
• Independent assessment of pricing adequacy, structure, and loss assumptions
• University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics or similar
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in reinsurance underwriting or pricing (or actuarial role with underwriting exposure)
