A top Mining Company based in the Northern Cape Province, has a great opportunity for an Underground Rock Engineer. The incumbent will be responsible to provide specialised and integrated rock engineering expertise into mine design, planning and operations. They will also diagnose deviations and take corrective action. Pilot different innovations/support methods based on the needs identified and motivate others to implement change programs. The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

•Grade 12

•Certificate in Rock Mechanics (Hard Rock)

•Bachelor of Science: Geology / Mining Engineering

•2 - 5 Years Management experience

•10 – 15 Years underground mining experience as an appointed Rock Engineer

•Member of SANIRE (South African National Institute of Rock Engineering)
