Context And Mission
The student will work inside the Physical and Numerical Modelling team to analyse which are the mesh requirements to capture properly the flow structure inside the airways for a turbulent regime and optimise using adaptive mesh refinement.
Key Duties
- Create benchmark cases
- Compute simulations in different level of refinement
- Compute simulations for different fluid flow regimes
- Compare solutions using adaptive mesh refinement
- Run a real case of airways
Requirements
Education
- Currently enrolled in a Degree in mathematics, physics or engineering
