**Job Description**

The Ultrasound Technologist performs or assists in ultrasound examinations, renders technical assistance to the Radiologist, and maintains and cares for all ultrasound equipment.

**Qualifications**

+ Associates Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography technical training program.
+ Successful completion of one specialty examination within 75 days from date of hire.
+ Successful completion of an accredited ultrasound / sonography technical training program (as determined by MSHS) within 4 months of accepting this offer. Successful completion of the MSHS hiring process. Commencing work within 14 days of graduation. Successful completion of ARDMS Sonography Principles and Instrumentation (SPI) examination prior to your date of hire.
