JOB SUMMARY
Independently performs ultrasound procedures in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures to ensure the best possible patient care services are delivered.
Reports to the Director of Imaging/ Ultrasound Technologist Supervisor

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education

• ARRT(S) or ARDMS or registry eligible (if registry eligible, must obtain ARRT(S) or ARDMS within 6 months of hire date).
• Must be registered as RVT or complete RVT exam within six months of hire date

Minimum Work Experience

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital or medically related environment, preferred

Required Skills

• Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards when no directions are given.
• Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.
