The Ultrasonographer under the direction of the Medical Director and/or Section Head, the Supervisor, and Radiologist performing ultrasound procedures assists in the clinical evaluation and care of the patients. The Ultrasonographer utilizes ultrasound to obtain diagnostic images and provide patients with a safe, positive, and inclusive experience. Technologists support teaching and continue learning as technology changes for both themselves and others. Ultrasonographers must be registered with the ARDMS.
