Position Overview
Ultrasonographer
Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment in various modes and techniques, to locate, evaluate, and record pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional data. The Ultrasonographer maintains and calibrates equipment, records test results, and updates patient records for referring physicians.
Responsibilities

- Makes adjustments to equipment in order to ensure proper technique, maintains supplies needed for specific radiographic procedures, and develops film by automatic processing in a timely and cost-conscious manner.
- Schedules examinations in coordination with other operating areas in order to ensure proper and efficient examination sequencing and maintains responsibility for coverage and call back services in area of responsibility
