Overview

Tradewind Recruitment seeks enthusiastic Face-to-face Tutors to provide academic support to students across Key Stages 2-4 in the Tadcaster area of North Yorkshire. The role offers flexibility and can be tailored around your subject specialism, availability, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition to students in KS2-KS4.
• Plan and deliver engaging sessions tailored to individual learning needs.
• Support pupils with SEN, SEMH needs, or gaps in education.
• Build positive, professional relationships to improve confidence and engagement.
• Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Work independently while liaising with schools, local authorities, and support teams where required.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or tutoring in KS2, KS3, or KS4.
• Confidence delivering at least one core subject (English, Maths, or Science).
