An employer is looking for a Database Engineering Lead to sit 100% on site in Arlington, VA. This role will lead the engineering and architectural strategy for database modernization, secure APIs, and data pipelines while translating mission outcomes and Agile backlog priorities into technical delivery plans and sprint goals. The Technical Lead will design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure database architectures, modernize legacy systems across on prem and cloud environments, and drive DevSecOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, release management, and configuration management using tools such as Ansible, GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform, Java, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL.
