The Town of Longmeadow, MA DPW is seeking qualified applicants for four FT positions of Truck Driver/Laborer. Responsible for the performance of semi-skilled manual work in the maintenance, construction, and repair of municipal properties, roads, and the overall completion of public works-related projects. Ensures the safety of municipal property, parks, fields, and streets for the general public; removes snow and ice, trims trees, mows grass and roadways, cuts back roadside brush, performs tree work, sweeps roads, maintains and repairs field and park areas, collects leaves, constructs sidewalks and curbing, patches roads, and performs a variety of street maintenance functions as well as other related public works functions.
