Providing specialized nursing care for Woodland Wellness Centre participants
Evaluating participant progress and updating care plan based on nursing assessment
Performing nursing treatment and procedures as ordered by the physician which would include, but not limited to: sterile dressings, injections, medication administration, monitoring blood pressures and monitoring blood glucose level
Transcribing medications to the medication administration record (MAR) and updating weekly
Developing comprehensive care plans, monitoring and adjusting participants care on an ongoing basis
Maintaining participant confidentiality as per the Lac La Ronge Indian Band policy
Documenting appropriate information on participants health record
Acting as a participant advocate and liaison between community programs and LLRIB
