**Job Description**

The Trayline Attendant prepares, assembles, and delivers patient meal trays in a hospital setting, ensuring every tray accurately reflects each patient’s dietary needs. This role supports the food service team by keeping the trayline organized, clean, and efficient, while providing courteous and responsive service to patients and staff.

**Responsibilities**

+ Assemble patient meal trays according to prescribed diet orders, portion guidelines, and established standards.
+ Verify that each tray matches the patient’s dietary restrictions, including allergies and texture‑modified diets.
+ Deliver meal trays to patient units in a timely and courteous manner.
+ Collect used trays from patient units and return them to the appropriate area for cleaning.
