Position Overview

We're looking for a Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) for an immediate travel opening in Springfield, OR.
The right Sterile Processing Technician must have 1 year of recent acute care experience. Read below for additional requirements.

As a SPT, you will be responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, assembly and sterilization of all instruments used in surgical services, and all required monitoring of equipment used in the processes. 

As a SPT, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:
Performs decontamination, cleaning, inspection, assembly, wrapping and sterilization of instruments and trays for use in surgical services.

Competent in operation of disinfection and sterilization equipment.

Performs and records Biological and Chemical monitoring of equipment.
