Position Overview
Trauma Informed, Restorative Justice Facilitator (RJ)
Minimum Qualifications: Possession of a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a behavioral or social science (social welfare, sociology, psychology, counseling and guidance, social work, etc.). Must have a working knowledge of trauma and its impact on youth. Must be trained in (or willing to be trained in) Restorative Practices.
Basic Function: Delivery of direct services to clients and also necessary indirect services for program development.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Responsible to provide direct restorative conversations with referred students at school.
2. Responsible for providing re-entry conversations with student, parent, and climate and culture specialists.
3. Responsible for running and/or supervising peace circles within the school.
