DescriptionTransports patients, supplies, equipment, medication, medical charts, specimens, blood products, flowers, name plates, paper (i.e., OR schedules, requisitions, etc.) in a timely manner
ResponsibilitiesTransport patients safely to/from all patient units & designated treatment areas in a timely manner and in accordance with prescribed proceduresPerform or assist with the movement of patients; assist with transport/transfer of patients from chair/bed, bed/stretcher, etc.Performance of specific environmental and support functionsMaintenance of required supplies and equipment; ensure equipment used for transport is safe, clean, and easily accessiblePractice effective communication and collaboration with other health care membersPerforms other related duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or Equivalency requiredCurrent or previous experience as a transporter ...
