Position Overview

Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Coordinator to join our team in Sheffield on a full time permanent basis.
Salary: £26,580 per annum, plus £2,000 shift allowance, plus £1,000 night allowance. 
Working hours: 4 on 4 off nights, 6pm-6am. 
The purpose of aTransport Coordinator is to effectively plan driver and vehicle resources to achieve delivery/collection times, whilst optimising resources and adhering to WTD and driver’s hours’ legislation.
Key Duties of a Transport Coordinator:
Creating and updating daily run summary in order to achieve delivery and collection deadlines.
Ensuring that service levels are achieved and maintained, in conjunction with other departments.
Using the Driver rota, planning runs according to shift pattern and available hours, taking into account holidays and sickness.
