Position Summary

The Transportation Coordinator will be part of a team responsible for on‑going operational needs for the transport and logistics department of the sales administration team. The individual will be responsible for planning and managing deliveries to customers once paper has been produced at the mills, while ensuring on‑time shipments from Kruger's production sites. The incumbent proposes alternatives when problems arise, consistent with the objective of the client's requirements of delivering at the lowest possible cost.

The Transport Coordinator reports to the Manager of Transport Operations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for day‑to‑day transportation tasks, work with the carriers, custom brokers, Customer Service Representatives, mills and Salespersons.
