Transmission Security Engineer

Role Descriptions

• Design and implement security architectures for transmission networks (optical, DWDM, IPMPLS, microwave, and metro backbone networks).
• Lead security hardening of transmission equipment, including routers, switches, optical transport systems, and network management platforms.
• Implement and maintain encryption technologies (MACsec, IPsec, optical layer encryption).
• Perform risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability analysis for transmission infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with security frameworks, standards, and regulatory requirements (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC, PCI where applicable).
• Develop and enforce transmission security policies, standards, and operating procedures.
