**DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION**

The UW Medicine Transfer Center is 24-hour call center serving the UW Medicine Hospital system. We have a great opportunity for an individual with excellent customer-service skills to facilitate consult/transfer requests from providers and clinical staff throughout the WWAMI region.

The Transfer Center arranges patient transfers and inpatient consults to all four UW Medicine hospitals (HMC, UWMC-ML, UWMC-NW, VMC) from across Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho. The Transfer Center Coordinator is responsible for receiving and documenting incoming calls from providers requesting to transfer patients to UW Medicine.
